Rented a dive suit from Island Bay Dive Shop (thanks much!) and decided this morning was a perfect day to test it and my new dive booties out in the Otaki River. A testament to the 7mm of spongy fabric between me and the frigid water, it was easier getting in the water and playing with the dogs that getting in and out of the suit. Practice gets closer to perfect, so tomorrow, same time same place!
